Ascot Lawyers Jump at the Chance to Support Road Safety


brake charityThis August, Lee Freeman and Harvey Sandercock from Ascot Lawyers did a 160-foot bungee jump to raise funds for Brake, the national road safety charity.  The bungee jump marks the start of the relationship between the two organisations and Ascot Lawyers have pledged to raise over £5,000 during the next 12 months to support Brake’s work with families bereaved in road crashes.

Every day, 8 people are killed and a further 72 are seriously injured.  Brake works to support families whose lives have been devastated by road crashes through a dedicated helpline, support literature and by training police family liaison officers.

Ascot Lawyers also work to support people whose lives have been affected by road crashes.  They deal with a range of services including accident and injury claims. They can recover the right amount of compensation for your injuries and other losses and operate on a UK wide basis.

brake bungee jumpLee Freeman, says, “I’m pleased to have raised over £500 for Brake. We were keen to support a charity which had close links to the work we do here at Ascot Lawyers and Brake are a very worthy cause.   We wanted to start our fund raising year on a high and a bungee jump seemed ideal. In the next few months we hope to work more with Brake on various fund raising activities to raise even more money.”
