Peter obtained an honours degree in Law in 1998 and passed the legal practice course the following year. Peter started working for a growing defendant orientated city law firm in 2000, where he was offered a training contract, and qualified as a Solicitor in 2002. After qualifying, Peter moved to a multinational city based law firm, specialising in Defence litigation working for a number of large corporations.
In order to spend more time with his family Peter moved to a national law firm in Hampshire, before joining Ascot Lawyers in 2006. Utilising the Defendant based background, Peter represented one of the country’s largest recovery and vehicle distribution operators, as well as dealing with personal injury litigation. In 2007 Peter was promoted to run the Civil Litigation department, including the debt recovery department. During this time he continued to represent critical injury clients, as well as deal with contractual disputes, building claims, consumer protection issues and defence claims. Peter was extensively involved in consumer credit litigation, leading to test cases before the High Court. In September 2009 Peter joined the Partnership at Ascot Lawyers.
When not spending time with his wife and two American Cocker Spaniels, Peter has a strong interest in science, technology and astronomy. Peter supports his local ice hockey team and is a fan of the McLaren Formula One Racing Team.
